Statewide Opioid Settlement Funds Webinar – August 11, 2:30 – 4:00PM ET
The Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General, together with the Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Addiction Services and Office of Local and Regional Health, the Department of Revenue’s Division of Local Services, and the Office of the Inspector General, invite you to join a virtual forum about the statewide opioid settlements with opioid distributors AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal and McKesson and opioid manufacturer Johnson & Johnson, on Thursday, August 11th at 2:30 – 4:00 PM ET.
Attendees will learn about when and how abatement funds will start flowing to the state’s [Opioid%20Recovery%20and%20Remediation%20Fund]Opioid Recovery and Remediation Fund and to participating municipalities, how those funds can be and are being used to combat the opioid epidemic, and will get answers to frequently asked municipal finance- and procurement-related questions about the funds. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
